We’ve planted some roots

by Danielle Teigen, board president

Hope Blooms has experienced many changes over the last year–becoming a 501(c)(3), electing a board of directors and launching a new website, just to name a few. Another exciting change we haven’t yet mentioned is securing a temporary space from a generous community donor who supports the organization.

We’ve previously been using the Love Always Floral space on Roberts Street downtown, thanks to the grace and generosity of board vice president Christy Tehven and her amazing team. Working out of the space has been great, but we felt it was vital to the continued growth of Hope Blooms to have our own space out of which we can operate.

Thanks to Alsop Property Management (APM), Hope Blooms is now operating out of a fully functioning space complete with ample working and administrative space. We have a volunteer reception area, bathrooms and a separate space for cleaning and drying jars before they are assembled into bouquets for vulnerable individuals in our community. We could not be more excited to welcome our incredible volunteers to the space for upcoming opportunities.

That also means generous individuals in the community who wish to donate jars or other materials can deposit them in the yard box just outside the door. Our address is 758 34th St. N., Suite O, Fargo. Please see map below for instructions on how to find us in our new home!
